The Queen of Herbs
Green Tea Tulsi Lemon Drop (Mocktail)
If you’re craving something citrusy, refreshing, and a little earthy in the best way possible, this one is for you!
The Green Tea Tulsi Lemon Drop is a zero-proof twist on a classic cocktail, layered with Ayurvedic inspiration and functional ingredients that make it more than just a pretty sip.
✨Tulsi
Tulsi, or Holy Basil, is one of Ayurveda’s most treasured herbs. Often referred to as the “Queen of Herbs,” it’s been used for centuries in India for everything from calming the mind to boosting immunity. In a mocktail, tulsi brings a beautiful floral-spiced note—kind of like if basil, mint, and clove had a botanical infusion.
I made a tulsi simple syrup for this drink and with that you get that subtle sweetness with an herbaceous depth that transforms a simple lemonade mocktail into something truly unique.
Why Green Tea?
Green tea adds just the right amount of earthy bitterness and a touch of natural caffeine. It balances the lemon’s acidity and complements the tulsi’s flavor without overpowering it. Think spa-day meets cocktail hour.
The Recipe: Green Tea Tulsi Lemon Drop (Mocktail)

1.5 oz tulsi simple syrup (adjust to taste)
2 oz cooled green tea (lightly brewed)

Brew your green tea and let it cool completely. (Steeping for 2–3 minutes is perfect.)
In a shaker with ice, combine lemon juice, tulsi syrup, and green tea.
Shake well until chilled.
Strain into a coupe or martini glass.
Garnish and sip!
Optional: Want to make it sparkling? Swap half the green tea for a splash of sparkling water!
